CARE DETAILS
- First, remove any caked dirt on your boots with a soft bristled brush or
damp cloth, and leave your boots to air dry. Please ensure that your boots
are away from direct sunlight or any heaters, as they will dry out the
leather.
- Apply leather polish, spray or cream to the leather to help maintain your
boots. If you are using a polish for the first time, try it on an inconspicuous
area of the boot to check whether it alters the colour or appearance.
- If using a polish, apply a small amount of leather cleaner to a polishing
cloth or brush and rub onto the shoe in circular motions.
Great boots! I have a very skinny foot and I wear shoes slightly too large for my foot, so these required very little break-in time. I am a womens 9.5-10, 42 in xc ski boots, and I ordered a mens 7/womens 10. Best colorway ever!
They took me a little while to break in but oh once I did they have become my boot of choice! I truly appreciate the double loops for easy pull on as I have a high instep (thus the break in period!)
My experience with Blundstones has been very disappointing; I don't understand the hype for these at all. The only plus side for me has been that the waterproof quality is awesome, and I hugely appreciate a lack of wet socks living in the PNW. However after half a year of wearing these in multiple terrains for different hikes and travels they still feel so uncomfortable to me. The top of the boot is so stiff and rigid that it feels like my ankle and foot can't quite flex properly with a normal step. Every time I wear these my feet feel like they need two days to recover. I'm not really a "boot person" but I've owned far more comfortable boots than these and I just really don't understand why these are so popular. There are far better and cheaper options out there. If I could return them at this point I would.
Great boots, well made. Only thing that would be better is a higher quality insole. They're not as sturdy as I thought they'd be, but they do the job. I have a wider foot so it took some good wear to really break them in, I even had them stretched at a boot shop. Regardless of foot size, you should expect to have a solid period of breaking these in. Overall they're great, stylish, and comfertable boots.
