CARE DETAILS
- First, remove any caked dirt on your boots with a soft bristled brush or
damp cloth, and leave your boots to air dry. Please ensure that your boots
are away from direct sunlight or any heaters, as they will dry out the
leather.
- Apply leather polish, spray or cream to the leather to help maintain your
boots. If you are using a polish for the first time, try it on an inconspicuous
area of the boot to check whether it alters the colour or appearance.
- If using a polish, apply a small amount of leather cleaner to a polishing
cloth or brush and rub onto the shoe in circular motions.
This is a lovely pair of shoes.
A note on sizing and fit, likely different for everyone:
I usually wear a US size 8.5 but these run small so I sized up to a 9. Initially thought the 9s were too big, but have found it is possible to adjust the sizing by adding the additional inserts that come with the shoes - put them in under the regular inserts. After a day of walking my feet got swollen, so I removed the extra inserts for comfort and felt much better.
There's a slight pinch on the top of the foot that I don't experience with lace up shoes - this is getting better after wearing the shoes in for a couple of days.
I would have rated them a “10”, but the scale doesn’t go that high! This is a great all-around shoe, comfortable and warm. The slip-on feature is a plus. A great 3-season must-buy shoe for New England wear!
I absolutely LOVE these boots! These are my third pair. I have them in 3 colors! I have hiked the mountains of Germany and Switzerland, walked miles and miles in NY City, and also thrown them on and worn them with a dress and even shorts. I can’t say enough great things about these books! I get stopped on the street and asked “what brand are those boots” and I have even had a couple people take pictures of my boots so they can remember what they look like. I also have one pair that is five years old, and they still look amazing! Lastly, they are so great that my teenage daughter is always sneaking them out of my closet to wear.
Total fan of these boots. They’re light, comfortable, and rugged. Super easy to get on and off because of the pull tabs in the front and back. I love the color- black/ gray tones.
I’m very sad because I save for a long time to be able to buy this beautiful boots. Sadly I got 6.5 my regular size is 6. I didn’t account for my thick uncles 🥹. I only can were them 1 hour at the time, hope eventually will become looser around my uncles and will be more comfortable.
Absolutely LOVE these boots. I wasn't sure the style would be right for me, but they are so functional and fit in my city environment. They are my new go to boot. There was maybe a day of break in (I walk a lot) and now they're super comfy. I would definitely recommend to anyone needing a good "ready for anything" boot.
