CARE DETAILS
- First, remove any caked dirt on your boots with a soft bristled brush or
damp cloth, and leave your boots to air dry. Please ensure that your boots
are away from direct sunlight or any heaters, as they will dry out the
leather.
- Apply leather polish, spray or cream to the leather to help maintain your
boots. If you are using a polish for the first time, try it on an inconspicuous
area of the boot to check whether it alters the colour or appearance.
- If using a polish, apply a small amount of leather cleaner to a polishing
cloth or brush and rub onto the shoe in circular motions.
I’m usually an 11 in women’s but those were too tight and the sizes don’t go larger than that, which is why I had to get the 9 in men’s. I like them but they do feel slightly too big so my feet slide in them a bit, causing friction on the balls of my feet. The also the top of the back of the shoes rub the back of my leg, causing blisters if I don’t wear tall socks. But that is probably also because they are a little too big. Besides the sizing related issues I really love the shoes, they’re a great look, easy to slip on and off, and keep my feet warm.
The boots are excellent, but they run very large (presumably to accommodate very thick wool socks). I usually wear a size 10.5 US for boots, but after reading the reviews I ordered a pair in size 9 US, and I'm glad I did! They are still quite roomy.
I bought these for a good winter boot when the snow isn't too deep and I just need warmth and traction. So far, they have been fantastic and exactly what I needed and hoped for.
Usually shoes hurt my feet to walk in but I wear these everyday with no blisters or pain! And they aren’t suffocating or too warm in there, I run around in them and my dogs are all good!
The best shoes I have ever purchased. Traveled through muddy, wet Ireland. Wore them to work, in and out of a cooler on slipper floors at a flower shop. I haven’t fully tested them in the dead of a Midwest winter but they kept my toes warm February - April!
Very comfortable, warm, and totally water proof. I’m a ski patroller in Lake Tahoe, where we got 17+ feet of snow in December. I wear my Blundstones to and from work every day.
